About Dr. Fry

Dr. Kathleen Fry is a conventionally trained physician with an unconventional story. Trained and certified in Ob/Gyn from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Fry started her private practice in Scottsdale, AZ in 1985 after finishing her residency training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.

It wasn’t long after being in practice that she discovered the limitations of allopathic, or conventional treatment despite many years of excellent training at first class institutions such as the University of Arizona. As she explains it,” I felt I was being asked to build a cathedral with just a screwdriver and a roll of duct tape! I just didn’t have enough tools in my tool kit to help people actually become healthy and stay that way.”

Thus began a journey of discovery that entailed thousands of hours of additional study and conferences on holistic healing including nutrition, proper use of supplements, bio-identical hormone therapy and what has become her special passion: homeopathy.  to what has become her passion: homeopathy.

Dr. Fry is a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine and a Past President of the American Holistic Medical Association, (now the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine). She has more than ten thousand hours of study and clinical practice in homeopathy. Her former teachers include Linda Johnston, MD, Louis Klein, FSHom. and Vega Rosenberg, Chancellor of Evolution of the Self School of Homeopathy.

In addition to writing and speaking widely about the health benefits of homeopathy, Dr. Fry continues to work as a homeopathic physician in Boulder Colorado, across the U.S. and globally.
